Each week I post a list of events taking place in Los Angeles for you to check out if you’re single. We could all use new ideas for things to do and how to meet new people. WEEK OF MAY 24th, 2010:

SingularCity is hosting a happy hour this Thursday at Toscanova in Century City from 5 to 8pm. Enjoy complimentary appetizers like bruschetta with fresh tomato and basil and assorted pizzas. Oh…and did I mention that ALL drinks will be more than half-off the regular price? Order up your favorite specialty cocktail such as a Peach martini or Italian Caipiroska for a bargain price. If you’re looking for a weekend pool party, you may want to check out the “SPF” party at Shangri-La hotel in Santa Monica Sunday May 30^th starting at 12pm. Pacq Productions, Listen Deep Music and Spin PR host the Westside’s largest Memorial Day Weekend Pool Party with festivities that include music by some of the industry’s top DJs, special guest performances, food and drink specials, a beach couture fashion show, giveaways and more. If you just can’t wait to get together with the girls for the premiere of Sex and the City 2, check out “Girls Night Out” at the Americana at Brand in Glendale this Thursday May 27th.
